Summary
The IDRISI Kilimanjaro Service Update to v14.02 includes several major additions and fixes. It also includes items from prior service updates.

Important Information about the IDRISI Kilimanjaro Update Procedure
Downloadable updates to IDRISI Kilimanjaro use software "patch" technology to update your IDRISI software while keeping the size of the file you download as small as possible. The patch software recognizes your current version of IDRISI Kilimanjaro and updates it to the version of the patch. If you have trouble updating, please contact Clark Labs Technical Support at idrisi@clarku.edu. You must be using the Kilimanjaro version of IDRISI to utilize this Service Update.
How to Install the Update
If you currently have a stand-alone license of IDRISI Kilimanjaro, download the file Setup_SAPatch1402.zip to a temporary location on your hard disk. If you currently have a student lab kit or campus license of IDRISI Kilimanjaro, download the file Setup_MultiPatch1402.zip to a temporary location on your hard disk. (If you are unsure of the license type you own, please refer to your CD.)
Double click on the file in Windows Explorer to launch the patch installation wizard. Follow the instructions of the patch installation wizard.
Stand-alone users

Notes
If you receive the message: 'Error: Could not open ValidateIO.dll file' when trying to install the patch, you most likely did not specify the correct path where you originally installed your IDRISI Kilimanjaro. If you used the browse button on the patch installation form, it may have added an extra \IDRISI Kilimanjaro into the path (e.g., C:\IDRISI Kilimanjaro \IDRISI Kilimanjaro). You do not need to select the IDRISI Kilimanjaro, just the directories above this one. For example, if you installed in Program Files, just select Program Files from the browse button. This assumes you are using the browse capabilities and not typing in the direct path at the top of the browse form. You can also try typing in directly the full path (e.g., ‘C:\Program Files\IDRISI Kilimanjaro’).
Note for multi-seat license holders: In some cases, you may lose your license when installing the patch. To reactivate the same license, merely run LOADSLS.exe, found in the IDRISI Kilimanjaro folder, and select Remove. Then run LOADSLS.exe and select Add.
