Change Analysis

  • Set the parameters for your project.
  • View graphs of change between the two maps specified in the project parameters. Graphs can be viewed in a variety of units. Create a variety of graphs that show rapid quantitative assessment of change in landcover category by gains and losses, net change by category, or contributors to net change.
  • Create a variety of change maps including maps of persistence, gains and losses, transitions and exchanges.
  • Map spatial trends. In landscapes dominated by human intervention, patterns of change can be complex, and thus very difficult to decipher. Land Change Modeler provides the ability to map trends with a best fit polynomial trend surface to the pattern of change.
